Every stage of construction on the Satai Ghat–Chowka corridor is executed and verified against MoRT&H specifications, IRC codes and NHAI’s Concession Agreement requirements.
A fully equipped material testing laboratory is established at the project Base Camp (Ch. 120+900). All borrow-area soil, aggregates, cement, GSB, WMM and concrete works are tested here before and during execution, in line with the Quality Assurance Plan submitted to the Authority / Independent Engineer.
Each construction activity is checked and verified through Requests for Inspection (RFIs) raised by the Concessionaire and reviewed by the Independent Engineer — M/s Chaitanya Projects Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. J/V M/s Geo Designs & Research Pvt. Ltd. — before work proceeds to the next stage.
Borrow-area soil, aggregate & source approvals prior to use.
JMF, mix designs and construction methodology submitted for approval.
Daily density, gradation, thickness & strength testing at site lab.
RFI-based inspection and sign-off by the Authority’s Independent Engineer.
Non-conformances logged, tracked to closure through the Defect Liability & O&M period.

Traffic safety arrangements are maintained across all active work fronts — road signs, temporary barriers, reflective gunny-bag bunding and channelised diversions protect both the workforce and the travelling public throughout the 55.125 km corridor.
